Sometimes. ASOS decides sale eligibility separately for each offer, so check whether its terms include sale or markdown items. The standard student offer applies only to full priced items, although separate student events may include selected markdown products.

For example, if an eligible dress is reduced to €40 and an offer provides another 20% off selected sale styles, ASOS takes €8 off and you pay €32.

Why does my ASOS code discount some items but not others?

Check who sells each item. ASOS does not discount products sold by an ASOS Brand Partner, even when ASOS handles delivery.

How does the ASOS student discount work in Ireland?

Eligible Irish students get 10% off after verification. You must be over 16 and in full time or part time education, including an apprenticeship, high school, college or university.

Sign in to an ASOS account and verify through SheerID. Approval can take up to 48 working hours, after which ASOS provides a unique code. Guest checkout is not eligible. ASOS also accepts unique student codes from UNiDAYS, Student Beans, TOTUM and Apprentice extra.

The standard discount covers eligible full priced products, cannot be combined with another offer and has a monthly eligible spend limit of £500 or the local currency equivalent. For example, ASOS takes €8 off an eligible €80 full price item, so you pay €72.
