Can existing HelloFresh customers use a promo code?
Only when the offer expressly includes existing or returning customers. HelloFresh reserves its main introductory promotion and friend referral benefit for new customers.
If you already subscribe, check Account Settings, then Gifts and Offers, for promotions assigned to your account. HelloFresh prohibits using multiple accounts to obtain promotional benefits.
Can I combine a HelloFresh promo code with another offer, a promotional box, HelloFresh Cash or a gift card?
Usually not, because HelloFresh does not normally combine a voucher with another promotion or apply a regular subscription voucher to an already reduced promotional box.
Vouchers also cannot apply alongside existing account credits. Redeeming a gift card adds HelloFresh Cash to your account, so that balance cannot normally pay for a box while another voucher applies.
Will HelloFresh apply my promo code to premium recipes, extras and delivery?
No, unless the individual offer specifically includes them. HelloFresh normally excludes delivery charges, premium items, recipe surcharges, add-ons and other extras.
For example, if your meal plan costs €50 and HelloFresh accepts a hypothetical 20% voucher, the plan price falls to €40. With a €6 premium recipe surcharge and €5 delivery charge, you pay €51 in total.
How do I claim a HelloFresh student or key worker discount in Ireland?
Use the eligibility links at the bottom of the HelloFresh Ireland plan page. Students verify through Student Beans, while key workers verify through GoCertify.
The key worker route covers eligible healthcare, teaching, military, Garda and fire service, delivery and transport, supermarket and government workers. The terms shown during verification determine who qualifies, how long the benefit lasts and whether the account can use it.
Can I cancel HelloFresh after using a free box code?
Yes, but the subscription must remain active until the day immediately after the free box cutoff. Redeeming a free box enrols you in HelloFresh’s rolling weekly subscription. If you pause or cancel too early, HelloFresh may remove the voucher and cancel the delivery.
After that requirement has passed, pause or cancel before the next applicable cutoff to avoid another box. The usual cutoff is 23:59 on Wednesday before delivery, although HelloFresh may show a different deadline during checkout. To cancel the first box itself, contact customer care before its cutoff.
Pro tip: Check the next delivery date once the free box is secured and set a reminder before its cutoff to prevent an unwanted full-price renewal.
