Why can't I find the promo code box on Hotels.com?
Hotels.com only accepts coupons when you select Pay Now. A hotel or holiday home that collects payment at the property is not eligible, so the coupon control may be missing and you may see Sorry, but you cannot redeem coupons or Welcome Rewards™ nights for this booking.

Why does Hotels.com say my promo code is not valid for the property?
The selected property does not meet that code's property rules. Hotels.com may display Sorry, this code isn't valid for the property you want to book. Please check the coupon Terms and Conditions for details on property restrictions.
Check the coupon terms for property exclusions. You can then book a participating property or keep your chosen property without the coupon.

Can I use a Hotels.com promo code on a Member Price or hotel deal?
Possibly, because Hotels.com does not apply one combination rule to every coupon and reduced rate. Deals can have minimum stays, excluded dates and other conditions, while the coupon can have separate property, booking and travel restrictions.
Check the terms for both the reduced rate and the code. If Hotels.com rejects the code, it may still work with a different participating property or rate.
Can I use a Hotels.com promo code with Hotels.comCash?
Generally, no. Hotels.comCash cannot normally be combined with coupons, gift cards, upgrades, awards or other promotions unless the applicable terms expressly allow it.
You also earn no Hotels.comCash or Reward Progression Nights on a booking where you redeem a coupon. For example, an eligible €200 room before taxes would normally contribute €20 in Hotels.comCash because Hotels.com calculates 10% of the eligible value. That value becomes available after you complete 10 Reward Progression Nights. If you use a coupon on that booking, it contributes €0.
Why did my Hotels.com code save less than its advertised percentage?
Hotels.com generally calculates or estimates taxes from the price before applying coupons. A percentage code may therefore lower the eligible room price without lowering every tax or fee by the same percentage. Local rules can change this treatment.
For example, if the eligible room price is €200 and taxes and fees are €30, a 10% code takes €20 from the room price. The final price is €180 plus €30, or €210. That is a €20 saving from the original €230 total, which is about 8.7% of the complete price.
Who can get Hotels.com Member Prices?
Hotels.com Member Prices are available to members signed in on the website or app, people using the Hotels.com app and people searching through certain search engines.
These prices only appear for selected properties and dates. Members at different membership tiers may see different Member Prices, while the app also has app-exclusive offers and discounts on selected hotels.
