How do I redeem a Booking.com travel coupon before booking?
Redeem the travel coupon before completing your booking:
- Open Booking.com's travel coupon page.
- Enter the coupon code and your email address twice.
- Select Redeem coupon code.
- Sign in to a Booking.com account that uses the same email address.
- Find an eligible booking and select Pay with Wallet at the payment stage.
Pro tip: Redeem the code before searching and allow up to 10 minutes for the Credits to reach your Wallet, so you can confirm the usable balance before booking.
Why does Booking.com say my coupon code is invalid or expired?
The coupon may have expired or require a particular platform, provider or minimum spend. Check the award email or reward partner's terms.
For example, an app-only reward will not qualify through an unsupported booking route, while a reward limited to selected providers will not apply elsewhere. If the award email shows that you still qualify, ask Booking.com Customer Service to investigate the failed redemption.
Why are my Booking.com coupon Credits not showing in my Wallet?
Wait up to 10 minutes after redeeming the coupon and signing in. Your Booking.com account must use the same email address that you entered on the coupon form.
If the Credits still do not appear:
- Open your account settings.
- Add or update your country of residence and nationality.
- Check that your email address is verified.
- Request another verification email if necessary.
- Contact Customer Service if the reward remains missing.
Why is Pay with Wallet missing from my Booking.com booking?
The booking is not eligible for Wallet payment under its current payment option. For a stay, look for the Pay with Wallet badge and choose an option that Booking.com lets you pay for online.
Credits also work on selected flights, prepaid car rentals, attractions and taxis, plus insurance added through Booking.com. Eligibility can differ between properties, room rates and payment options in the same search.
Pro tip: Check the final payment page before choosing a rate, since a cheaper-looking option may not accept Credits.
Can I combine Booking.com Credits with Genius, deals and vouchers?
Often, if the final booking remains eligible. A travel coupon becomes Travel Credits, which can reduce a price that already includes an applicable Genius discount or other deal.
You can also combine Credits with one voucher, but not two vouchers on the same booking. A booking labelled Partner Offer cannot be combined with promotions, incentives or rewards unless Booking.com states otherwise.
For example, if the eligible price after an automatic Genius reduction is €200, applying €30 in Credits and one €20 voucher leaves €150 to pay.
Pro tip: Booking.com uses the Credits with the earliest expiry first but lets you choose your voucher. Select the voucher that will expire sooner or be harder to use.
Can I add Booking.com Credits after I have already booked?
No. Booking.com cannot apply earned Credits to a confirmed booking, even if the stay, flight or other travel experience has not happened yet.
Use the Credits on a new eligible booking before they expire. You can find the expiry date under Rewards activity.
Where can I find Booking.com promo codes and rewards?

Do business travellers need a Booking.com promo code to get a discount?
No. Creating or joining a Booking.com for Business account automatically unlocks Genius Level 1, and existing Genius status can carry over from your personal account.
Completing one stay through Booking.com for Business unlocks its exclusive route to Genius Level 2. Eligible properties and car rentals display the blue Genius label, and Booking.com applies the available discount automatically.
